In the universe, there exists a substance that can only be found on a single planet, Shinorubi. This substance grants its owner infinite power and extraordinary longevity through biological mutations. Its name is R-R.

For a thousand years, the Baää family has ruthlessly ruled over Shinorubi and the R-R.

King R. Loyd III has six sons and one daughter. He and his sons waged war 150 years ago against the realms of Traddess and Zoogt, light-years away from Shinorubi.

The kingdom has been entrusted to five generals who are close to the royal family and are under the command of the king's only daughter: Nemeziya Baää.

Night falls over Kaddin, the capital. The endless night before the solstice of Baäas' thousand-year reign. Eight mercenaries attempt the impossible under the cover of darkness: the overthrow of the kingdom.
