The Peak Charger is designed for charging fast-charge capable Ni-MH battery packs with 4-8 cells, as used in most remote-controlled cars, boats, or aircraft models. The intelligent delta-peak charge termination detects a full battery and automatically switches to maintenance mode after charging is complete. This prevents overcharging and maintains the battery's charge state.

A control LED indicates the current operating status. The charger automatically adjusts to the number of cells. The device is protected against overload and short circuits and is largely maintenance-free.
