The Tamron 17–70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD is a fast standard zoom lens for Canon mirrorless cameras with an RF mount and an APS-C sensor. The focal length range of 17 to 70 mm covers a wide variety of subjects – from landscape and travel photography to street photography, portraits and everyday scenes. Thanks to the constant maximum aperture of F/2.8, high light transmission is available across the entire zoom range. The built-in VC image stabiliser compensates for unwanted camera shake and helps ensure sharp handheld shots. The fast and exceptionally quiet RXD stepper motor enables precise autofocus for both photos and videos. Reduced focus breathing ensures smooth and natural image transitions when shifting focus. The Canon RF version features an AF/MF switch and a VC ON/OFF switch directly on the lens. Firmware updates can be carried out via the desktop version of the Tamron Lens Utility.
