Question about TL-WPA8630P Powerline Kit - 238276
Add other extension? Hello, I have this kit but I would like to add another extension in another room to have ethernet connection to some other equipment. Is it still not available to buy the extension only and not again the whole set? If not, is there any other powerline extension with "socket" that is compatible with this kit and has at least 2 ethernet ports? Regards, F.
You can buy an extra remote (TL-WPA8630P), but here in Switzerland, the price is more than the combined kit (TL-WPA8630P KIT)! The reference number for the base unit, that connects to the router is TL-PA8010P. Hope this helps.
Seems that you can use other powerline extensions though I have not tried it. (superuser.com/questions/935902/can-i-mix-and-match-ethernet-...). Digitec seems to offer a 3 extension kit or why not try to order from the Tp link web site directly? (www.tp-link.com/ch/home-networking/powerline/tl-wpa4220/?utm...)
