No: The Epson 850 is good for all negatives, slides, photos and other scans in the paper and originals sector. It does this brilliantly with its own software or with Silverfast. Top scanner but not suitable for films.

just enter super8 scanner in the well-known search engine, there are various models specialised for it. for photos and negatives, however, the epson is great.

rather not. there is no holder for super8 included, also the software (epson scan or silver fast) is not suitable for it - you would have to set up the frames for each individual picture by hand and could only scan a maximum of approx. 30 cm of film per pass. it would be better to have super8 digitised by specialists - much less stressful!
