Yes, the language can be changed, even to German, Android 13 is installed. However, I would not recommend anything with Android for a tablet, it is much more worthwhile to buy an iPad Air with an Apple M1 processor, for example, which are a little more expensive, but you get much better hardware and software support. Apple also provides security updates much longer than Android tablets. The Snapdragon 870 in the Xiaomi Pad 6 is good, but compared to an Apple M1 processor it is anything but fast.
