Question about TL-WPA8630P Powerline Kit - 233749
I have exactly this set and would also like to have Wifi and LAN connection in my hobby room. Consequently, I would only need the small module. But this is not available to buy separately. What is compatible?
Hello Christof_Eugster. I have been dealing with this question for a long time and have not found an "identical extension" either. In various forums, people were upset that they would have to buy the set again just for the WLAN adapter and thus have the base in stock (absolutely pointless). I then decided to take a risk and buy compatible adapters (without WLAN), which are also from TP-Link and also
support the same data rate (even 1300Mbit/s)....It worked. The WLAN adapter where there is no other way, the rest via Ethernet....
The stupid thing is that these adapters are only available with an EU plug!
I then mounted a fixed adapter on CH - so far so good....
The device was in use for about 2 weeks, but now I don't need it anymore. So if you are interested (1 module has CH adapter on it, the other one is still "virgin, never used), I would like to sell it to you...
Feel free to reply if you are interested, then we can work something out...
The product is as good as new and flawless...
