Question about DS118 - 124710
Is this also suitable for home video streaming? from Full HD 1080p to 4k?

DS118 is too weak to convert video. But 4K direct (TV must support video format) steaming is no problem. I do it with PLEX app, latest app for Synology you have to install manually.
Funny, everything runs smoothly for me on 4K via DNLA (don't need Plex).
Found it, the Realtek processor is not suitable for Plex streaming and especially not supported yet.
