Hi, we bought it mainly for baby. The recommended amount of cut fruit/vegetables per cooking is 250 grams done in 10-20 minutes. (It depends on the fruit)
With a baby, we didn't have enough time in front of us but with small children, we can surely have a little more time to make 250 grams several times! 😅
But it is very easy to use!

I don't know the predecessor, but the current model is also quite loud when mixing (high-pitched squeaking). It should be noted that the volume is related to the amount of liquid. If there is enough liquid, the blender is much quieter...
No additional power adapter is required to operate the product. The product already has the appropriate plug for the following country: Switzerland
Just pour the porridge in and defrost!
According to our information, the unit has a CH plug.

We have this model (2016) and are actually very happy with it. We made porridge with it every day for about 1 year. Over time, depending on the vegetables, discolouration forms on the plastic parts, I could imagine that this is less visible on the newer model due to the darker colour of the plastic parts. It is important to decalcify in between.
