Can this lamp also be used "normally" as a bedside lamp and always be connected to the power supply?

Yes you can! My daughter uses it as a bedside lamp. It gives a pleasant light and only needs to be plugged in about every 2 weeks. Highly recommended!

Yes, I had this problem too. Then it was replaced under warranty. The new one doesn't have the problem either.

Does not need a bulb, has LED permanently installed.
