This wonderful world has been captured by Marcel Wanders in an original collection for table and home. Elegant objects in evocative shapes and designs, such as the series of airtight containers. The glass body is adorned with a drawing reminiscent of old carousels. The lid is painted with the typical red-and-white circus tent motif, and a golden knob in the center represents the peak of the tent. The "Circus" series, which is striking yet also amusing and surprising, was designed by Marcel Wanders and mainly consists of trays, plates, bowls, as well as cooling and ice buckets made of colored stainless steel. A special process that Alessi introduced in the 1980s has been revived for the production. Geometric decorative elements such as circles, stripes, and conical shapes, along with the colors white, black, yellow, red, and gold, are the typical main features of these "Circus" pieces. They draw on symbols from the circus world and remind us of the feeling of wonder and joy we experienced when we first entered a circus as children.
