Maintenance: Before use, apply a little vegetable oil to a cloth and wipe the cutting board to oil it. The oiled cutting board will be darker than the original. Then, stand it upright and let it dry. Repeat the process a second time and let it dry again. Ensure that the oil has been absorbed and wash it carefully.

Cleaning: For an additional monthly cleaning, sprinkle the surface with salt and half a lemon. The salt will help remove any food residues on the cutting board. The lemon juice will combat unpleasant odors. Rinse with warm water after washing and wipe the cutting board with a clean cloth.
