The original Bialetti Moka Express mocha pot is undoubtedly the world's most famous and popular individual coffee-making device. With the mocha pot, you can prepare a strong and full-bodied Italian mocha coffee, which also serves as a great base for milk coffee. Alfonso Bialetti's iconic design and functionality have been in existence since 1933. Made in Italy.
Mocha pots come in various sizes because the pot's filter must always be loaded fully with coffee. Otherwise, the water passes through the filter too quickly, resulting in weak coffee. By using two or more mocha pots of different sizes, you can prepare a flexible amount of coffee at once. The Moka Express mocha pot is made of aluminum and can be used on electric and gas stoves. We also offer mocha pots made of stainless steel, which work on induction cookers.
A coffee that is ground finer than for filter brewing but slightly coarser than actual espresso grind is used in the mocha pot. We recommend freshly roasted coffee beans and a quality coffee grinder.
