Instead of just lightly refreshing the Scandinavian style, the Danish design team focuses on new materials without changing the appearance: pots and pans in a rustic cast iron look feature a lightweight aluminum construction and naturally insulating oak wood, while bowls impress with easy-care melamine instead of scratched enamel.

Nordic Kitchen French Press Coffee Pot. The well-shaped, rounded silhouette with a decorative oak wood handle also suits the pot, even though Tools Design opts for classic stainless steel instead of cast iron and melamine here. The Eva Solo coffee pot features a typical French press insert as a fine mesh filter plunger to push the coffee grounds to the bottom of the pot after brewing and steeping.
