I use my Dreame on two floors and the mapping works really well. BUT after 4 months of very intensive use, I find it quite cumbersome to carry the robot up and down each time because it has to wash and empty the mops regularly.
In my case, it is set to return to the base station every 15 m² - with around 100 m² on the upper floor, that's a lot of back and forth. On the ground floor, where the base station is located, everything runs completely automatically without me having to do anything.
As I'm super happy with the cleaning performance of my Dreame, I've now bought a second, less expensive Dreame during Black Friday - the L40s Pro Ultra for the upper floor/bedroom. Overall, it's not as dirty there as on the main floor with the kitchen and entrance, so the cheaper robot should be able to clean there without any problems.
I'm still waiting for delivery, but I think this will be a perfect solution: no more carrying up and down, and I can also leave the robot running upstairs when I'm not at home.

Now, after 8 months, he's as blind as a bat, he's always stuck somewhere. If there is no water in the tank, it stops working completely. He doesn't do anything without water. We have the Roborock Sa5 S7 and S7 Ultra Vmax series on the other floors. They are older but much better. It cleans well, but everything else is so annoying that I can do it myself
