Yes, that is possible. In the app, there is a section called Map management for multiple floor areas.
There you can tick the box for Multi-floor.
After mapping, the robot automatically recognises which floor it is on.
You don't need spare batteries for this appliance as it has a fixed battery that is constantly recharged. Accessories such as wearing parts are also available to buy, but you get them when you buy the appliance new. Everything is supplied in duplicate and triplicate. This lasts for several years according to my experience, I'm not the first robot hoover but this one surpasses all the ones I've had. I am very satisfied. Mop roll makes all the difference. => from my experience in suction only mode (without washing with mop) it cleans 95m2 starting with 90% battery and usually about 15% left over.
In wash and vacuum mode (with mop) again starting with the battery at 90% it cleans about 90m2, then you have to recharge it to complete the task.
