The powerful Severin is very well made and offers excellent coffee quality according to European standards. However, patience is required during preparation and the control element could be positioned and designed in a more user-friendly way.
The model heats the water with Thermotronic technology to a temperature of 92 to 96 °C before it is distributed over the powder. This also subsequently achieves a 'very good' temperature (tØ: 82.9 °C). The capacity, on the other hand, is the smallest in this test group (V: 1.0 l).
Unfortunately, Tilli was not available for a comparison of whether her hand-brewed coffee or that of the Caprice is better. But we are sure that the machine-brewed coffee will delight even the most demanding coffee drinker.
