Im Vergleich zu Omas oller Kaffeemaschine haben Kapsel-, Pad- und Vollautomaten aber den Komfortvorteil: Man bezieht auf Knopfdruck nur eine einzige Tasse. Die WMF AromaOne für rund 63 Euro kombiniert das Beste beider Welten: Filter rein, Kaffeemehl rein und zwischen einer und vier Tassen ordern.
Sowohl an der einfachen Bedienung als auch der Temperatur des Kaffees gibt es etwas auszusetzen, wobei allerdings keine Warmhaltefunktion eingebaut ist und somit das Getränk schnell abkühlt. Auch die Brühdauer von rund 7 Minuten ist deutlich zu lange und der Ausgießer kann leicht tropfen. Dennoch überwiegen die Vorzüge und der Wassertank ist gut ablesbar.
