The AGU Original Rain Suit Essential is a unisex waterproof rain suit designed for daily cycling use in wet conditions. Made from 100 percent recycled polyester with a matte finish, this rain suit features Poray 5000 membrane technology, providing reliable waterproofing and breathability during typical rain showers. All seams are fully welded, and double YKK zippers prevent water from entering. The jacket sleeves are cut longer at the front for improved rain protection and can be completely sealed against water and wind at the wrists. Similarly, the pant legs are longer at the front to generously cover the shoes and are secured with snap buttons for a clean fit. Reflective elements on the suit enhance visibility in low light conditions and improve safety in traffic. The hood is removable, allowing the jacket to be comfortably worn in dry weather as well. Based on an award-winning design from a 1977 competition by the Dutch Ministry of Transport and Water Management, this model retains a classic appearance while integrating modern technological advancements.
