A straight back is a happy back. Kånken was developed in 1978 to prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren and quickly became a classic in kindergartens and outdoor schools across the country. Today, 35 years later, the Kånken has straightened millions of backs around the world and has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products. This classic backpack is suitable for both the journey to school or work as well as for hiking and traveling. It is made from durable and lightweight Vinylon F fabric that can withstand dirt and moisture. The spacious main compartment features a large zippered opening, making it easy to pack and access the contents of the backpack. It has two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front—ideal for keeping small items within reach. The PE foam seat cushion is stored in the back inner pocket so that the contents of the backpack do not disturb your back. Plus, you always have it ready when you want to take a break, no matter where you are. The carrying system is simple yet practical, consisting of handles at the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. Additionally, there is a label in the main compartment where you can write your address.
