The Twin-Tube design from 2016-2024 was an engineering masterpiece, but it brought some challenges in terms of durability. The completely reinterpreted FLOAT X2 shock absorber, starting from 2025, has been completely redesigned and is based on a revolutionary monotube architecture.

It is the world's first 4-way adjustable monotube shock absorber with high/low-speed compression and rebound, as well as Variable Valve Control (VVC) rebound for finely adjustable and precise damping performance.

Optimized air damping performance with coil-like ride comfort. The oversized air chamber and reservoir allow for precise air volume tuning for perfect adjustment to individual riding styles and trail conditions.

A larger ½-inch shock shaft and reinforced chassis increase stability and resilience for the toughest downhill and enduro applications. It features a supportive firm mode (no lockout) with its own control circuit and a locking lever adjustment.
