In the theory behind La Sportiva, there are indeed many considerations: The shoe was developed by studying the grip behavior of gorillas and the sensitivity of cat paws. Designed for indoor climbers, the shoe is made from microfiber and suede leather, featuring a lot of grippy Vibram sole that envelops the shoe to allow for dynamic foot placement. The slipper also includes a Velcro strap to adjust tension and enable precise hooking.
