The Aspen ST is an ultra-low-profile racing tire primarily designed for use in Short Track XC, although some athletes also use the narrower size of 29x2.25 on their gravel bikes. Sometimes referred to as "Fastpen," this tire will undoubtedly give any racer an advantage in dry, grassy conditions. However, due to its limited profile, it is not recommended for more technical trails or mixed weather conditions.

Source: GalaxusDespite its thin profile, the wide, bulbous Aspen bites well and surfs dry trails quickly. However, caution is advised in wet and slippery conditions, as it loses grip early on. Medium rolling resistance, rather heavy. Very good puncture resistance.
