Product details
With the Alfine Di2, Shimano has expanded its premium electronic shifting system to the urban sector. The system allows for effortless gear changes at the push of a button. A small, separately available actuator motor at the hub is controlled by the shift lever and initiates the shifting process immediately. The electrical energy for this is provided by the Di2 battery, which is available in various designs.
The Inter-11 hub has increased the overall gear range to 409%. In comparison, the Inter-8 has a range of 307%. Additionally, the gears of the Inter-11 are spaced closer together, allowing for a more comfortable and efficient cadence.
