The Shimano MTB front wheel 27.5" from the WH-MT500 model series (series without group binding) is designed for mountain biking. It features a VR 15x100 mm axle system with a thru axle standard. The front hub design weighs 936 g and has an installation width of 100 mm with a front axle diameter of 15 mm. The spokes are made of stainless steel and the nipples are brass, with a total of 24 spokes.

The rims are clincher type, made of aluminum, and measure 27.5 inches. They have a hollow, double design and are compatible with disc brakes.
