The Shimano MTB front wheel 27.5" from the WH-MT500 model series (series without group binding) is designed for mountain biking. It features a VR 15x100 mm axle system with a thru axle standard. The front hub design weighs 936 g and has an installation width of 100 mm with a front axle diameter of 15 mm. The spokes are made of stainless steel and the nipples are brass, with a total of 24 spokes.
The rims are clincher type, made of aluminum, and measure 27.5 inches. They have a hollow, double design and are compatible with disc brakes. The tread height is low (less than 30 mm) and the mouth width is approximately 24 mm. This front wheel is specifically designed for Center Lock disc brake systems.
