602 M-D active 2.1

The M-D Line stands for maximum relief of sensitive areas and offers the 602 M-D® active 2.1, which provides optimal pressure distribution based on medical criteria for trekking and touring bikes. The relief for the perineal area is 80% and is usually sufficient for age-related enlarged prostate. Your doctor can provide additional advice on this matter.

The 602 M-D active 2.1 features an improved, lighter saddle shell, an expanded adjustment range, and a completely newly developed technology for the Comfort active system, which can now be adjusted via a switch function. Also new is the option to attach bags. The new 602 M-D offers more comfort while maintaining the same level of relief and has a slightly narrower saddle nose.

Active Saddle Technology Comfort
Thanks to the proven SQlab active system, the saddle follows the pedaling motion, which increases comfort, mobilizes the intervertebral discs, and minimizes pressure on the sit bones. The active movement can be regulated in two stages using the new switch function.

M-D Line
More relief – less pressure. The M-D Line was developed for maximum relief of sensitive areas and allows for pressure distribution based on medical criteria. M-D stands for maximized dip and, in combination with the high classic step shape, distributes body weight onto the sit bones.

The M-D Line is also suitable for heavier riders due to its CrMo steel rails. If relief of the perineal area is not your primary concern, but rather comfort on the sit bones, we recommend the ERGOLUX® series, in which the 602 is also available.
