The X-SYNC 2 Eagle chainring is radically new. The engineers of SRAM have studied the performance and wear of thousands of X-SYNC chainrings. Chainrings of every size were subjected to all conceivable loads, in the test lab as well as in the field. The goal was a chainring that increases the performance of the Eagle group under all operating conditions. The result: the chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to perfectly engage the Eagle chain. SRAM's new chainring thus increases the chain tension and efficiency when pedaling.
