The wheels were designed to meet the demands of our sponsored athletes, suitable for road cycling as well as cyclocross, and for all other cyclists who appreciate the time-tested qualities of tubular tires. The 303 Firecrest Tubular for disc brakes features several key technologies from Zipp's top-tier NSW wheelset. These include the ABLC™-Sawtooth™ structures with small indentations that extend to the rim's peak. The rim has also been redesigned for impact resistance. These innovations enhance a wheelset that has proven to be world-class in two of the most challenging arenas – the spring classics and the cyclocross World Cup. Complementing the 303 Firecrest Tubular rims are the durable, versatile, and German-developed ZR1-DB hubs that spin at the center of the wheelset.
