Fire retardant. All tent materials used in Coleman tents are treated with a fire-retardant coating. This coating ensures that any potential fire does not get dangerously out of control but instead smothers itself. This gives you valuable time to get to safety.

UV Guard sun protection. Fabrics treated with UV Guard provide a protection factor of 50+ against the sun's UV rays.

WeatherTec. The WeatherTec system includes the following features:

• Weather-resistant materials (designed to allow rainwater to bead off the material, protecting you and your gear)
• Strong frame construction (engineered to withstand gusts without damaging the tent or shelter)
• Water column (a measurement unit for assessing the waterproofness of the outer tent. The higher the number, the greater the waterproofing)
• Reinforced seams (the seams are welded to prevent water from entering through the needle holes).
