Extralink OPIP-1000W Inverter with Pure Sine Wave

The Extralink OPIP-1000W inverter is a device that converts the output voltage of a battery (direct current, DC) into 230V alternating current (AC). 230V AC is the type of electricity provided by utility companies to power standard household appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, radios, lighting, or to charge laptops and mobile phones.

If you already have a charged battery, connecting an inverter allows you to operate household appliances in areas without access to the power grid; for example, in a motorhome, caravan, boat, garden shed, or other remote locations. Inverters are also ideal for off-grid systems and emergency power systems in the event of power outages.

This is a pure sine wave inverter, which means that the 230V AC output follows a smooth sine wave and is almost identical to the normal power grid. Pure sine is much better than square or modified sine waves for operating devices.

Advantages of the sine wave inverter:

  • It is suitable for a wider range of devices (for example, devices with electric motors cannot be operated by modified sine wave inverters).
  • It is more efficient compared to modified sine wave inverters.

The featured model can produce 1000W of continuous power and up to 2000W of peak power (the peak reserve capacity is useful when more power is needed to operate a device than is required for continuous operation).

Additionally, the inverter has a USB port for powering USB-compatible devices (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, laptops, MP3 players).
