The DNX5170BTS is a universal Navitainer that combines a navigation system, an FM tuner, a DVD/CD player, a high-resolution 16 cm monitor with touch-sensitive touch panel, the possibility to integrate
an iPhone via Apple CarPlay, the connection to the on-board electronics of numerous vehicles and a powerful 4 x 50 Watt amplifier with extensive sound settings. The only requirement for installation in the vehicle cockpit is an installation shaft in double DIN format. There the DNX5170BTS presents itself as a competent control centre for mobile entertainment. The smartphone's music library can either be imported via USB cable or streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth. For an entertaining music mix, the Kenwood can simultaneously connect to three mobile phones and switch between the A2DP streams of the individual smartphones at any time without interruption. This can be done either by pressing a button on the car radio or simply by starting one of the music players.
Apple CarPlay allows you to control numerous smartphone functions as well as some apps via the buttons on the radio monitor or via Siri voice control. Whether it's the Apple navigation "maps", reading and writing messages or listening to music, audio books and podcasts - CarPlay makes it possible.
