Its semi-open coating ensures that the abrasive material clogs very little, even with high material removal, such as when sanding paint. Particularly practical for all types is the hook-and-loop backing, which allows the sandpaper to be quickly and securely mounted on hook-and-loop coated tools and backing pads.
