The guide shoe protects the conductor insulation beneath the cable sheath. It can cut very hard or tough plastic sheaths with a wall thickness of up to 7 mm. The sickle-shaped, replaceable hook blade can be folded for safe transport. The blade has four positions: folded, straight, angled, and with ratchet. A three-stage blade lock ensures safe handling and transport. The ergonomically shaped handle provides comfort, and there is an integrated attachment point for use with the Knipex Tethered Tool System.
