The new PeakTech 3442 is a practical digital multimeter designed for high demands in a heavy-duty design, featuring a variety of useful measurement functions. The device's display can be switched at the touch of a button between a 6,000-count LCD and a high-resolution 60,000-count LCD, with all measurements recorded as true RMS values. In addition to extensive measurement functions for current, voltage, capacitance, resistance, and more, this new development also includes a 4-20 mA% current loop measurement, a low-pass filter, and an auto-hold function. Via Bluetooth, the measurement values can be displayed live through PC software or apps for Android and iOS devices, recorded in tabular form, and sent for further processing. Special emphasis was placed on user protection during development, with a shock- and impact-resistant housing and a high overvoltage category.
