The KG-A8 FH+RD door drop seal from Planet is an innovative solution for glass doors that is both fire-resistant and smoke-tight. With a lift of up to 16 mm, it provides an effective seal that increases the sound insulation value to up to 48 dB. This seal is specifically designed for single and double-leaf fully glass doors with a glass thickness of 8 mm. Installation is straightforward, achieved by simply sliding and gluing the seal into the narrow protection profile A8. The included fixing screws allow for immediate readiness after installation. Thanks to the one-sided and silent release, as well as the parallel drop, dragging over the floor is avoided. Additionally, the seal automatically compensates for uneven floors and features an adjustable silicone lip for optimal lateral overlap. The seal can be cut to the desired length and comes with a 7-year warranty.
