Product details
When using a wooden substructure made of counter and load-bearing battens on wooden substrates, precise alignment of the battens to the millimeter is crucial. While it has been common to use spacer pads or wedges, the SPAX adjustment screw makes this task particularly easy. By fully screwing in the screw, the screw head is completely countersunk. If you then slightly unscrew the screw in reverse, the holding grooves located beneath the screw head will grip into the wood, lifting the batten to the desired distance from the substrate. Our adjustment screw also features the typical SPAX characteristics such as the T-STAR plus power drive, the 4CUT, and the wave profile. The flat head can be optimally countersunk and provides high pull-out resistance. Our WIROX coating ensures that the SPAX adjustment screw can be used both indoors and in non-weathered outdoor areas.
