The SPAX multi countersunk head universal screws with T-STAR plus drive provide users with greater flexibility due to their universal applicability in various materials such as wood, plastic, or metal sheets. The multi-head with recessed pocket segments, combined with the milling ribs, ensures a clean and flush sinking of the screw into wood and effectively prevents over-torquing when working with metal fittings, creating a solid connection between the fitting and the component. The T-STAR plus (Torx) drive allows for better power transmission to the screw, longer service life, and faster threading of the screw with improved fit on the workpiece. The integrated 4CUT tip enables screwing without pre-drilling, achieved by the square shape of the screw from the tip to the transition of the thread to the shaft. The 4CUT design reduces material splitting and significantly lowers the screwing torque. Additionally, the typical SPAX wave profile of the partial thread ensures easy and secure screwing. The new WIROX coating from SPAX offers 20 times higher corrosion protection and significantly greater surface hardness than conventional plain galvanizing on screws, greatly expanding the range of applications in outdoor settings.
