The SPAX HI.FORCE flat head screw, with a diameter of 8 mm, is ideally suited for the most demanding tasks in timber construction. The partial thread screw ensures a perfect fastening of battens and square timbers, for example, a secure attachment of roof battens. Unlike countersunk screws, the flat head screw has a higher head pull-through strength, allowing for greater screw spacing. The wave profile at the thread tip guarantees safe and quick screwing. Thanks to the 4CUT tip (square tip), screwing without pre-drilling is no longer a problem, depending on the wood. The sophisticated tip reduces splitting and displaces wood fibers. Another advantage is that the partial thread screw, due to the 4CUT shaping at the thread exit, requires a significantly lower screwing torque. The T-STAR plus system ensures a clean fit and better grip of the T-STAR plus bit, optimizing power transmission and protecting the screw head. The WIROX surface provides high corrosion protection. The alloy is chromium(VI)-free, making it more environmentally friendly than conventional surfaces.
