Processing & Installation
• Drill through the thermal insulation to the solid substrate. Concrete/solid brick Ø 18 mm, hollow brick Ø 20 mm
• Measure the depth of the non-load-bearing layers.
• Create a drill hole with a drill hole depth h0 (see ETA Appendix 1) in the building material. Concrete: Ø 18x80, solid brick: Ø 18x100, hollow brick: Ø 20x90
• Clean the drill hole: Before inserting the threaded rod or sleeve, the drill hole must be cleaned according to ETA Appendix 1 of the used injection system
• Hollow brick: Use the threaded rod to push the sleeve into the drill hole until the collar rests against the building material
• Cut the threaded rod to the required length (hef + tWDVS + 2 mm)
• Clean the drill hole: Before inserting the threaded rod or sleeve, the drill hole must be cleaned according to ETA Appendix 1 of the used injection system
• Screw on the iso-spacer (with M16 nut) until the nut is secured
• Concrete/solid brick: Fill the drill hole 2/3 with the injection system. Use extension hose for hole depth ≥ 190 mm
• Hollow brick: Completely fill the sleeve with the injection system. Use extension hose for hole depth ≥ 190 mm
• Insert the threaded rod while rotating until the collar of the pre-mounted iso-spacer is fully seated
• Allow the injection mortar to cure according to the curing times of the ETAs listed in Appendix 1
• Attach the component with a screw/threaded rod (length = embedding depth + component thickness) (Min. embedding depth: M10 = 10 mm / M12 = 12 mm; Max. embedding depth: M10/M12 = 34 mm).
