Carcassonne (Nordic) is a strategic board game based on the popular tile-laying concept. Players draw and place tiles that represent various elements of the southern French landscape, such as cities, roads, monasteries, and fields. Each tile must be placed so that it connects to already laid tiles, with cities connecting to cities and roads connecting to roads. After placing a tile, players can place one of their meeples on one of the areas to score points when those areas are completed. This special Nordic edition includes a free expansion - The River - which enriches the gameplay with additional tiles at the beginning of the game.
