The switching modules are connected directly to your RC receiver and can be controlled via a button, switch, or joystick. The position of the switch/button (up and down) and the duration (short and long) are evaluated. In the case of the 2-channel module, only the position is evaluated. It is important that buttons and switches have a neutral position – known as 3-position switches/buttons (On/Off/On).
Each switching output features a memory function: this means it remains activated until the switch/button is returned to the neutral position. The switching module has two separate and negative-switching outputs available. Each output comes with a 200 mm long blue cable, which should be connected to the negative terminal of the load. Each switching output can switch a maximum current of 2.5 A. The maximum allowable supply voltage is 16 V/DC.
The module powers itself through the servo cable. The black negative cable can be connected directly to the battery or to the optionally available distribution terminal. For high loads, the black cable should be connected via the distribution terminal or to the drive battery to avoid damage to the receiver. For easier wiring, we recommend tinning the cable ends.
