The SBB Swiss railway station clock is a legendary piece of Swiss design. It shows the time in Swiss railway stations. In 1944, Hans Hilfiker, a Swiss engineer working as an employee of the Swiss Federal Railways, created a watch that became world-famous as the official Swiss railway station clock. This watch made the leap to the wrist in 1986. For this purpose, it was subtly refined for contemporary life. Its slightly rounded shape with an almost seamless transition to the case back has been ergonomically designed for ultimate comfort. This rounded shape is emphasised by a high-quality sapphire crystal. Sophisticated lugs and a functional crown are perfectly proportioned for precise balance.
