All media mods, such as the case with the microphone, the light and the screen, have to be bought separately. It should be available from December. - Rockero
I have not found any option. The aspect ratio for photos seems to be limited to 4:3.
I paired my old remote, which I had used with my Hero3+, with the new Hero8 Black and was able to switch between photo, time-lapse and normal video, as well as activate the shutter release. Conclusion: The two components are compatible.
There is a setting called „Antiflicker“ in the new GoPro where you can choose between 50 and 60Hz
Hello, The Media Mod Accessory should be available in december. - Rockero
According to the manufacturer: HERO8 Black camera, battery, curved adhesive mount, mounting clip, USB-C cable, thumbscrew
Under the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdxHST__Yvw&ab_channel=Pduesp it is explained wonderfully. The accessories fit the GoPro8
can the GoPro 8 with stabilisation still record 4k60fps in ultrawide or can only the GoPro9 do that?
"With stabilisation" is written a bit loosely - yes, it can, the question is probably more with what level of stabilisation. 4K/60 with Wide works with Hypersmooth 2.0. If you want to use SuperView, only 4K/30 works with Hypersmooth 2.0 Boost. Hope that helps, otherwise you'll find an overview on Google.
Hello Salvatorec622 Scope of delivery is: HERO8 Black Camera | Battery | Curved Adhesive Mount | Mounting Clip | USB-C Cable | Wing Screw
The housing/frame is not, because it is smaller on the older Heroes (and more different underneath), the holders and mountings usually are.
Yes, this product comes with a battery. The kit includes two batteries.
A battery is included with the camera, so there is no need to buy additional accessories. The battery of the GoPro 5 is identical in construction, so it can also be used in the GoPro8. However, the camera gives an "error message" that you should insert a battery for the GoPro8 in order to be able to use the full performance.
Unfortunately, the GoPro itself doesn't have a thread on it. Neither do the mounts, I had to buy a specific one.
In the original packaging there are : 1x 3M sticky fix 1x sticky fix-gopro adapter with fixing wheel 1x USB-C cable 1x battery 1x Gopro The adapter is of the style: Hama Front (Headband/helmet mount, Universal)
With my iPhone7 with iOS 14.2 and the GoPro App version 7.2 (4236), the connection to my Hero 8 Black works without any problems.
Unfortunately, there was no option outside the exchange guarantee, but now a supplier will soon be offering replacement lenses. https://camerabutter.com/products/gopro-hero-8-glass-lens-replacement-kit
with an adapter, but not sure if it's 60fps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7eYM9sno2U https://community.gopro.com/t5/Cameras/Keine-4K-60FPS/td-p/315496
the monitor of the GoPro Hero 8 is a colour monitor
If you want to send the data from the GoPro on the road, you need a smartphone with the GoPro app. With the app, you can transfer the data to your smartphone and then send it on.
see link... i can't say for sure if 400gb cards are already supported... up to 256 should not be a problem... you need many batteries for 400gb, so better a smaller card, but one more battery ;-) https://community.gopro.com/t5/de/SD-Karten-die-mit-GoPro-Kameras-kompatibel-sind/ta-p/394012?profile.language=de
depending on the settings of the gopro (4k/full-hd/gps/fps), about 50min to 100min with a full battery.
If you don't know what you want to do with it, save your money. Do you also mount your national car phone on the bottom of a motorbike or on your helmet when downhilling? Probably not. That's exactly what an action camera is for. If you don't need that, you're better off with a smartphone. You don't buy a camera with interchangeable lenses if you think that your smartphone takes such great pictures.
There is no internal memory for media, you need a memory card to store media. In any case, this is the case for me. https://community.gopro.com/t5/de/SD-Karten-die-mit-GoPro-Kameras-kompatibel-sind/ta-p/394012?profile.language=de
The "GoPro Protective House", AJDIV-001, GoPro Protective Housing for Hero 8 (Housing) Comes with two flaps: one open, so that the touch screen can be operated, and one closed, e.g. for diving.
No problem, you have everything on it. You can also determine the field of vision in the display beforehand. It's absolutely no problem and you'll have pure joy with it.
Dear Thomas.gasser I received an e-mail from Digitec asking me, as the owner of this wonderful product, to answer their question (... "Your opinion counts!" etc...). The price of 399 seems to be well within the average market price. If you want to allude to the fact that the camera is currently available from other suppliers for as little as CHF 299.95, you are quite right. Bored greetings!
