An integrated electronic barometer measures the air pressure on site. If sufficient values have been collected after 24 to 48 hours, monitoring of air pressure changes allows a weather forecast to be made: if the air pressure increases, the weather can be expected to improve; if the air pressure decreases, the weather worsens.
