Does your appliance make the same noise when you switch on the ioniser? It makes no difference at levels 1-3, but night mode is far too loud. On the positive side: almost no ozone is produced, but the volume is annoying. I don't know whether it's due to loose coils or the built-in technology. Maybe you can try it out.
