It features reflective strips for increased safety. The tread mixture is directly based on Continental's passenger car winter tires. The tire performs best at temperatures between -25° and +7°C. Where other mixtures lose grip, the proven tread pattern of the Top Contact Winter II interlocks with snow and damp surfaces. In these conditions, the tire even outperforms spikes, which are ineffective on snow and plowed roads. The reflective strip provides additional safety during the dark winter months.
