Continental has further optimized the Top Contact Winter II, enhancing it with a Vectran breaker and a foldable core. This improves its weight and consequently reduces rolling resistance. The tread compound is directly inspired by Continental's passenger car winter tires. The tire performs best at temperatures between -25° and +7°C. Where other compounds lose grip, the proven siped pattern of the Top Contact Winter II interlocks with snow and damp surfaces. In these conditions, the tire even outperforms spikes, which struggle on snow and plowed roads. The reflective strip provides additional safety during the darker months. Handmade in Germany.
