ALPIN test editor Olaf Perwitzschky: "A comfortable and stable all-round approach shoe".
Dachstein mid-cut shoes for men are exclusively designed with a Vibram, speedhiking-inspired sole featuring an integrated climbing zone for perfect grip. They have a breathable mesh lining, Cordura mesh, and suede leather. The injected PU midsole offers combined hardness levels for lateral stability and optimized cushioning. Made in Europe, these shoes provide the highest dimensional stability due to their pinched construction. They include lightweight TPU toe protection made of Liba Smart.
Material details include a GORE-TEX membrane, suede and mesh upper, leather lining, and a TPU surface coating. The shoes feature an anti-slip sole, lacing closure, toe cap protection, and are not crampon resistant.
Weight is measured at 552 g per pair for size 42. The sole consists of a PU midsole and Vibram outsole. They offer a regular fit and run true to size.
These shoes are suitable for hiking, waterproof, and constructed in a mid-cut style. They provide natural climate regulation and comfort thanks to the leather lining.
