Mechanical durometer for measuring the hardness of soft elastomers, featuring a pointer for better readability of the peak value. The durometer is used to measure the surface hardness (Shore A) of soft rubber and very soft plastics. It consists of a measuring part with a measuring head and a glare-free 360° clock. For improved readability of the peak value, this hardness tester has a drag pointer in addition to the standard measuring needle, which remains at the maximum value after the measurement is completed. After reading, it can be reset to the zero position. With the model PCE-DX-AS (A), you will always receive hardness measurement results with the highest accuracy and repeatability.
