The specially developed, variable relief grinding ensures a very smooth countersinking process. This produces an exact, round and chatter-free surface of the countersink and thus guarantees the best results. Specially developed chip space parameters, such as the rake angle, transition radius and the extra wide flute ensure optimum chip and heat removal and thus enable very high wear resistance. In addition, the new geometry counteracts material welding and reduces the countersinking forces enormously. Significantly less feed force is now required during the countersinking process.
